I am in need of a new RO unit, and have a few questions about the Kent Maxxima Deluxe.
I have seen the Maxxima advertised with Kent's "RO Monitor" (small black box that doesn't display actual TDS: http://kentmarine.com/parts/romonitor.html) while their documentation (http://kentmarine.com/instructions/deluxemaxxima.pdf) suggests that it comes with a dual TDS meter like this one: http://www.tdsmeter.com/products/dualtdsmeter.html So which one is it? Would like to know what I'm getting before spending extra $ on the deluxe. Thanks |

Out of curiosity
How much are you paying for that?

Just get the Dual TDS monitor so you can monitor your water quality. I use the one on your third link helps me determine cartridge changes. The best one in my opinion. The first one seems that is does not give you a numerical reading just a light indicating good or bad. I run the same RO/DI unit and I have 0 for the final product and my input reads 120-140 depending on the month. You cant go wrong with Kents Ro unit. Get the flush kit also if you buy it.
