centipede looking thing
Can anyone give any info I have something coming out of my LR that resebles a centipede with a purplish body and like a pinkish/reddish head any ideas on what it might be?

Your description sounds similar to the common bristleworm. It is usually a harmless, scavenging detritivore and poses no threat to your aquarium.

thanks its only my 6th day with a tank and I have seen copepods, worms, feather dusters and now bristleworms I hope my tank is heading in the right direction. Appreciate the info.

They're good for the tank. If you see one whose head has big pincers that's a different kind, but the ordinary small-headed worms are your friends...they go where toothbrushes and snails can't reach, and clean and clean and clean.
