Have not seen new wrasse for 48+ hours, still hiding?

I added a new wrasse to my tank on Saturday and it immediately hid. I caught a glimpse of him Sunday morning when the actinics were on but have not seen it since. I have probably only spent 1.5 hours observing the tank, but I do not see it at feeding time either.

Should I be concerned that it has died or is it possible that is would be in hiding for several days after being introduced to the tank? I guess it is also possible that it just wasn't out when I was looking/feeding.

he's probably just hiding. wrasses do that allot. he is probably stressed out. you can look in when the lights are off with a red light and you might be able to catch a glimps of him

Dont worry about it. I didnt see my leapord wrasse for 3 weeks after I added him.
