calibrating milwaukee tds meter

i can't get my thing to read 800, the solution i have is 800 tds and that's what you're supposed to use, but i can't get mine to read above 26 or so, plz help

Current Tank Info: 55 gal reef w/ 30 gal sump, 55 lbs of live rock, xenia, star poylps, kenya trees, a frilly mushroom, some bull's eye mushrooms, a purple tipped frogspawn, green striped mushroom, a yellow tang, lots of macro algae
