metal halides

I'm looking at 150watt metal halides and they only come in standard base. Seems like the mogul base has more of a variety. Why is that? Does this light have not have as good as quality? The mogul base doesn't come in a 150 they start at 175?

there are tons of 150w hqi bulb choices.
