Skimmer Questions (good or bad)????
I recently came across a new skimmer. It is a Prizm Pro that handles 300gal systems. This thing is pretty nice sized.
I shut down my SuperSkimmer because the Prizm seemed to pull twice as much in a 24 hour period and the Prizm also pulled darker skimmate. I am looking for opinions on what people think of this new PrizmPro. Or if anyone has done any extensive research on this skimmer. Thanks

Never owned a Prism but I’ll tell you it doesn’t get very good ratings from forum members. My personal experience has led me to test and read about twelve types of skimmers and most do produce some skimmate. For a 75g I personally would have gone with a PM HOT for a hang-on or an ASM G2 for in sump.

What's a PM HOT skimmer? I'm only familiar with ASM, EuroReef, SuperSkimmer, and a couple others.

Gotcha. I'm in the process of building myself a EuroReef replica.
