Skimmer Questions (good or bad)????

I recently came across a new skimmer. It is a Prizm Pro that handles 300gal systems. This thing is pretty nice sized.

I shut down my SuperSkimmer because the Prizm seemed to pull twice as much in a 24 hour period and the Prizm also pulled darker skimmate.

I am looking for opinions on what people think of this new PrizmPro. Or if anyone has done any extensive research on this skimmer.

Never owned a Prism but Iâ€™ll tell you it doesnâ€™t get very good ratings from forum members. My personal experience has led me to test and read about twelve types of skimmers and most do produce some skimmate. For a 75g I personally would have gone with a PM HOT for a hang-on or an ASM G2 for in sump.

What's a PM HOT skimmer? I'm only familiar with ASM, EuroReef, SuperSkimmer, and a couple others.
