Are they dieing ? is this what it looks like ?

Why is there this white goop coming off my mushroom, it looks like it is dieing, or melting ? what is that ?

Also i have yellow star poylps that where very healty, and growing like crazy. they closed 4 days ago and have yet to open again ? Why ..

the only thing that is new i have added to the tanki s a brain coral

What is that goop off of the mushroom, it really looks nasty, should i just remove it from the tank. is that what happens when they die ?

Is it coming from the center of the mushroom? I was moving a rock once and accidently touched one of the mushrooms. It shot out that white goop and stung me. I think they do that when they get mad.

If it is brown it is excess xooanthalle and/or waste. Ir it small white spaghetti like strings, that are the mesinternal filaments. It is a defensive reaction.

It looks like this gross Gel, I started seeing it comeing off one of the smaller mushrooms and then the next morning it disapeared almost like it melted in to the water and now a larger one on the same rock has this stuff coming off it

it looks gross, it really looks like it is dieing, it is white but also has some color of the mushroom mixed in with it ?

So its not dieing ???
