NEED ID FAST!!! what type of brain is this????
ok just got this from a friend and need to know what tank to put it in so i need to know what type of brain this is.
(I have 3 reef tanks all with different lighting etc..) so i know it will work in one of my tanks, just need to know which one. thanks

I would put it into a tank with med/high lighting. Looks like Platygyra, or a close relative to it; thats my opinion, but I am no professional.

Ditto to what Skeeter said also just taking an educated guess. Most closed brain type corals do best with fairly strong light and medium flow. Higher flow is okay as long as it's not blowing right on it.
BTW the Chaeto is doing well.
