Exclamation Anyone see this - LED system?

Sorry if this has already been posted. Has anyone heard about this system coming out? Claims are pretty amazing, and there's even a full blown review in Advanced Aquarist Magazine!

Sounds too good to be true.

They had a pretty compelling display at this year's MACNA. The jury is still out on how well they will hold up over time, though.

yep it was at MACNA, but they are still redesigning the next one... I think it might be best to wait this one out for a little...

crap for the price they want for a 72" fixture to go over my 180 id get the acls... the leds are less bright - it takes 11 years but one of those articles has a before and after. i dunno im not sold on em. i did a eta to break even on their website, way to long to consider shellin out 4g's and then probably 1-2g in 11 years to replace all the bulbs again

good points.

another point: before in 11 years I have a feeling there will be some more major advances in the industry that will blow away the LEDs.

this guy on a local forum has his on order. I'm sure pix will be up soon on RC. Personally I don't have that kind of cash to be dropping just for experimental reasons. It would be cool to have though.

My LFS just got one in. I would get one in a second, but I just don't have the cash to throw down on stuff like that.
