finally did it.. 150watt mh and 2x32 watt pcs in a nc24

well as some may remember i had to take down my old tank well i got bit by the nano cube bug again as my friend was getting rid of his nc24 and i figure i would redo it all over again since i missed my old nc, i had pretty much the same exact build but this time with a 150Watt MH and 2 32 watt pcs.

ive been cautious of leaving the light on so i manually turn it on and monitor the tank's temp. Today i was confident that the tank is stable and left it on the whole day. Came back from work and the tank is 79.7 degrees solid. Ambient temp of 76 degrees. well here are the pics:

pics of the simple under hood, i have mini reflectors im going to add in soon to help with the optics but the light output is already awesome

close up of the xm15020k

under hood with the lights on...bright

fts with the 150 oh yeah its BRIGHT!

screen shot of the RK2 doing its job....(79.7 all day long)

so there this is proof that it can be done for those wondering about this mod..

Wow, Very nice.

I am planning to upgrade my lighting this winter when it's time for new bulbs.

Good Job.

looks really good.

I would def. add some nice reflectors into the mix along with an anemone, an rbta would be nice.
