refugium

What size of refugium would be good for my 180g reef with a 55g sump?

A 20Long or 30 gallon would work. If you have the room than go even bigger.

I've heard alot of people say 10% of your total water volume. I would go as big as you can in the space you have. You really can't have too much macro algae growing.
