8800K PC bulb increase algae?

Will this bulb increase growth in bad algae vs. a 10k PC?

excess nutrients increase bad algae growth, not different light spectrum

Shouldn't matter. 10,000K vs 8800K

The 8,800 might have a little more output. I had a 96W 8800K in my old tank and didn't notice more algae with it.

Actually, 8,800K is only slightly more favorable to algae growth and quite technically, yes it will be more effective at growing algae. But the difference will be minute. Your largest concern with nuisance algae is excess nutrients like mentioned above.
