Oh snap, my Coralife Super Skimmer impeller shaft snapped

My Coralife Super Skimmer pump had been sounding kind of... odd lately (louder and little bit "grindier" than normal). I took it apart and discovered the white shaft had snapped near the end. Most of it is still intact and so I put it back together and it appeared to be working okay.

But I'm wondering if this will make it more prone to problems in the future.

Mine broke and and the skimmer stopped.
I'd contact Coralife for a replacement
