SE and DE MH bulbs
Basic questions.
What's the difference? Is one brighter? Cheaper? Lasts longer? Thanks everyone in advance. |

Big difference for me was the ease of bulb replacement. One of the guys in my club was showing me how to replace the bulb and started telling me how careful you have to be not to break the DE bulb and how he already broke 2 bulbs. He was also selling the fixtures as he owned a small shop at the time so there was no i'm a newbie excuses. So I bought the SE's and never looked back. The fixtures may be better now I don't know.
