Disappearing damsel?
Ugh. I just bought it yesterday. I fed my fish, then I walked out of the room for 2 minutes. When I came back, the fish isn't in the tank! I look all over the floor, move live rock around, etc, but I can't find it
![]() The only thing that I can think of that could have happened is he jumped out of the tank and landed on the air vent on the floor and went down there... |

![]() Check the air vent...it's entirely possible. But, also give it a few days in the tank. They will normally hide when first introduced. I assume the tank is already cycled too, right? |

I found him!
He was hiding horizontally underneath a TINY crevice in a rock. That can't be comfortable, hiding sideways like that. |
