Calcium Reactor vs. Kalk Reactor
What are the advantages of running both of these at the same time? Dont they do the same thing?

They do the same job, in general, but the kalk reactor tends to raise pH and the calcium reactor tends to lower it. Thus lots of people use both.

calcium reactor is cabable of adding a lot more calcium then a kalk reactor. I use kalk mainly to maintain ph, not really to add calcium although it does add some.

a calcium reactor tends to go out of wack at times therefore adding more Co2 and lowering your ph...to much adjusting if you ask me,,,i would prefer the kalk reactor...
