Opinions from experience please.

What is the best MH lighting for soft corals at 20" depth and hard corals on a ledge at about 15"?

I'm thinking about using a 150W MH HQI w/electronic ballast but I'm not sure that would be adequate.

I'm always trying to learn from the experience of others.

My sps & zoo nano is about 20'' and I run 150HQI. They all grow and show beautiful color.

Thank you saltycreefer.

I have kept only soft corals to date and haven't yet researched the lighting requirements of many of the hard corals. Is there are group of hard corals for which this lighting would be inadequate.

Do you have any photos of your nano?
