tank emergency.... sump diseaster

ok here is the problem in my remote refuge it is gravity feed and a few snails found there was through the hose and got stuck so no water was draining but water from the sump was flowing out. Well that caused a overflow from the refuge and my asm g3 skimmer to run dry when I notice it this morning I fixed the problem but the skimmers pump is now dead... I guess I will need to get a new one... any idea of maybe fixing the pump I got

It may have overheated and burned out, but you can try to disassemble it and soak all the parts in vinegar to remove any build up, reassemble and try it again.
