Cowies?
Someone told me that I needed to put cowies in my tank with my puffer and huma. When I went to my LFS they had no clue what I was talking about. Could some one point me in the right direction for some more info ands pic please? Thanks

Hi there, do you mean cowries? They are an invert that graze on macro-algae but also corals.

Cowries are a type of gastropod (snail), and since both puffers and triggers can munch on snails in the wild, perhaps that is what they were suggesting.
Expensive meal, if that's the case, and not necessary. Kevin

Not a cow fish, like Anemone said, cowries are a small snail with a nice shinny polished shell. They are difficult to find in LFS and I have only found a couple of placed online to get them. They are a little pricey as well. if your triggers are small you might try mexican turbos first.
