calcium parts a and b

I was told "do not add these together or combine them".

Now my question, I put part a in the tank, how long do i need to wait to put part b. the directions didn't advise me.

first be sure to pour them in a high flow area. i do it like James983, pour the alk part in, let the cloud go away, then pour in the calc part. if i pour the calc part in first sometimes i get some precipitation. not a big deal, but your wasting product basically.

I presume this is ESV or Two little Fishies two part Calcium and buffer products. If you allow both parts to come into contact the calcium will precipitate out of the liquid (become solid) which is unusable to the corals. It does not readily dissolve back into liquid and can clog pump impellers and the like. You may add both at the same time so long as the water stream will not allow the two parts to mix.
