Trying to get quiet!!!
Right now I have an overflow on my tank and a HOB Remora skimmer. the tank is somewhat loud with the water and all. I just purchased a lifereef overflow that is supposed to be super quiet and not gurrgle ect. I now realize i have to get a sump skimmer b/ the HOB version is going to make noise. Does anyone have any suggestions for a insump skimmer that works. My sump is not huge and I'd have to modify it for such a thing so space is an issue. I only use my sump for LR and macro and the heater....mostly for volume. any advice is appreciated. My tank is not hard plumbed and I have little ability with my set up to make a lot of mods to the way the system is set up.

you can use the remora in the sump.... i did on my little office tank... if you can hang it off the back of the sump.... get a piece of plexiglass... cut to fit the sump like a partition (but allow water to flow under or around it... or even thru it).... then hand the remora on the plexi
