Asm G1x
Hi,
I just bought an ASM G1X. It came with absolutely NO instructions. Can anyone help me out and tell me how deep the water should be in the sump I put it in? Any input as to how to adjust it would be great too. Thanks. |

Well, apparently this is the wrong question, or just not a popular skimmer...
Can anyone point me to where I might be able to get some help getting this thing set up? Thanks. |

I used to have one and it ran well in 8" of water.
Pull up the riser tube until the foam is half way up the neck. |

Thanks for the input, I thought this would just die a slow death. One (embarrassing) thing that will tell you I am a newbie, what and where is the riser tube? Thanks. |

I don't have one, but the folks on this thread should have all the info you could possibly want.

You're welcome.
The riser tube is the grey tube on the side of the unit. It has a foam cover. You will need to adjust the height from time to time, but it is pretty much set and forget. I was pretty happy with it and didn't modify it at all. You just have to make sure to give it a vinegar bath every month or so. good luck |
