I just put 2 and 2 together and saw your tank on the local forum...I've admired "both" tanks for a while now...

My wife and I are building a house. Transporting and migrating everything over while trying to sell a house and build a house without a temporary move will be extremely difficult. Plus, I am at the max on my budget with the new house. The goal is to sell everything in order to pay for a new custom 6x3x2 DD peninsula tank with a side overflow on the corners of one of the 3 foot sides with a dry well in the middle for vortechs. Hope to start a new build by the end of the year. I will certainly miss this tank and I have some corals I will be sick over losing. Also going to miss my reef compatible majestic angel.
Here is an existing home with our layout. We are going to set the tank up in b/t the columns so you can see through it into the living room. And the other visible side will face the kitchen. The door to the master is on the other side so that is where the cabinet side will hide the overflow and plumbing. There will still be enough space to walk by either side of the tank in order to go into the dining area. There is also an open space directly beside the back wall with the cabinets as well. The space b/t the columns is 11'-6". ![]()
