Update
Ok here's an update. I've done this in the order that the request were given.
1) Letmegrow (aksed about 2 months ago) 2 drums. I have them here when your ready. 2)ncox38 asked next for 2. I will see you this Sat. sometime. 3)DrBDC for 3. Roy I picked up your Drums today. I'll hold them until I here from you other wise. 4) Reefer Wannabe for 1. 5)fkdenton asked for 2. 6)jcjstl Pm'd me for 3. (thank you for posting in the thread so I didn't forget you) 7)Levon15 asked for 1. Ok numbers 4 thru 7, I'm still working on gathering more. I have a line on a big fat MAYBE within the next 2 weeks. At the moment if I'm adding right I need to gather 7 more 55g drums. If my tip goes to plan I should be able to get everyone's drums sometime within or around the next 2 weeks. No promise's though. Stupid.

I'll take 4 if its not to much to ask.
I wonder if anyone has ever tried to make a skimmer out of one. |

No probs Nick anytime. jwhockey23 I'll add you to the list as well as you avgjoe, and good luck with the 55g drum skimmer there. I know I've said IMO you can't really over skimm a tank. I don't think I'd want a 55g skimmer though, I couldn't afford to run the pump to turn that amount of water.

ReeferWannabe is correct. I can't get the freebies anymore. However.....................I found a HOODS super store in Housesprings?? The one off on HWY 30 and M. They have food grade 55g barrles for $9.95. There are around 200 or so of them out back of the store. I did not inspect them to verifiy that they are in fact food grade, the shipping guy said they were soda barrles, grape and rootbeer and other stuff like that. Most were blue a few were white. I was asking $10.00 for the ones I had so that's a pretty good deal other than the drive. They come with both buns and from what I did see looked to be in really good shapr. I try'd to swindle a few freebies from him but he would not let one go.
