I've spent a couple of hours moving things around....unfortunately by the time you try to keep enough space around the three sides for a mag float to get through to be able to clean the glass, there simply is not much room to work with in a 55 tank. It is only like 12 or 13 inches wide(deep) front to back...which is why someday I intend to upgrade to a 120 or a 180....

I agree with maybe at least doing something different with the center rock, but whatever you end up doing, I'm excited to see what comes of it. Make sure you post your build thread on the local forum!!!!
