how does a high fin banded goby, a small perc, and a clown goby or two sound? does it sound like too much bioload or should it be ok?

I'm very aware of the size tank I have. Lots of people have successful ten gallon tanks with more than a couple tiny gobies in the nano forum

Ok well, there's a thread in this forum about the smallest fish that people keep in reef tanks. You might want to check that out.
IMO you should get either a high fin red banded goby or a yasa hashe goby, either of which will pair with a randall's pistol shrimp. That's a wicked awesome goby shrimp pair, no matter what size tank you have and they won't outgrow the tank...ever. I also really like Lisa's suggestion of having some cool inverts in there. Inverts are super neat and very active. You might also consider one green banded goby and maybe one clown goby OR one red head goby OR one firefish. I wouldn't put more than 3 of the fish that stay really small in there and CERTAINLY not a clown. I don't understand why everyone under the sun wants Nemos. |

Everyone wants nemos because they're active and pleasant to look at. I'm definitely gonna be getting some kind of goby but I'm just not sure which and/or how many. Inverts wouldn't be until down the road when the tank is more established

Why is it likely I'll overfeed? And my CUC consists of 4 hermits and 2 snails right now...getting more soon. How long does it take them to mature? What goby/shrimp combinations?

It is likely that you will overfeed because feeding a small tank properly is difficult. The vast majority of aquarists do overfeed.
