Lots of golf. Was a really good golfer until a couple of major accidents, now cant even swing a club more than 10 times before my left arm feels like it is getting ripped off. Then mary-wanna came in, definitely helps the pain, and getting over the fact I could have made a run at the golfing tour.

RC Car racing. Yes, I said it. I had over $10,000 invested in a 16 ft cargo trailer full of high tech toy Cars. Carbon graphite chassis with milled aluminum components. Computer driven dynos for the motors, electronics, parts. Hell, a set of tires was $100. Batteries, gas motors, electric motors, servos, radio equipment, scales ....... Traveled all over the east coast racing on outdoor concrete tracks and indoor carpet tracks. Had major manufacturers sponsor trips, etc. Then I got married.

A couple people in this thread need to remember that this is a family friendly board. To everyone else, lets keep it clean from this point forward.
For me, I started this hobby while in college, so I was already poor and didn't have any bad money hobbies. Though I had already started on building my stereo -- it was only 2 channel back in those days.

Arabian horses (which my Mom still has back home), Orchids (hubby and I have still), feshwater angels, reptiles (had 120 leopard geckos breeding once, now we have 4 and a western hognose snake), paintball, ammo... now we just have no money. lol. Saving up a little at a time to make additions to our tank.

Orchids, had about 3000 in an a greenhouse and traveled the country judging orchid shows. Reefing is a lot cheaper, but the corals are about on par with the sensitivity of orchids to their growing environment. Cultured on orchid ten years before it ever bloomed for the first time.

Mine was eating out instead of at home and buying a lot of dvd's and video games. Now I eat in, burn and gaming has declined greatly.

for me it was RC helicopters and ww2 1/5 warbirds all scaled out to the max.
still have the war birds but sold the helis ,had no time to fly them and a crash with a vario scale heli is between 600 and 1700$ reefing is way more relaxing steff |

35% to scale R/C Planes. It amazing how much cash you can drop into one of those. I'm selling all my large planes off and sticking to mainly small electrics. You don't cry as much when you dump a $300 small plane compared to a $3500 big one. I really need to quit messing with the tank as much and go flying again!!!!

My 94 Impala SS which I still sink money into.
Then I just bought this about a month ago and it is by far sucking up the most of my money right now. When will I ever learn?
