For what it is worth, I suppose I'll attempt to drag this back to sanity.
Your tank parameters are all in line and you've had the fish 3 months so ich should have shown up before now. Personally, I do not trust anyone including my own family members to QT for me (if you're reading this I still love you but the reason I put the coral frags you give me into my QT tank is to QT them, not so I can decide where to place them in my DT). It's unlikely although not impossible that a tang was stung by your nem... I'm guessing you're worried since you've posted here but short of pulling the tang and placing it in a hospital tank, I think you're stuck playing wait and see if it develops into something more than one white dot. As to the rest of this, tanks - the whole system - house our fish and are the subject of critique when something goes wrong. I dont (or try very hard not to) take comments personally knowing that we all have different experiences and backgrounds and I always have something to learn. Good luck to you.
