Well, true ich and crypto have very similar life cycles. Many people have it in their tank for years w/o having visible outbreaks. The parasite just goes through its life cycle in small numbers and tends to infect the gills and not show flakes all over the body. Whethor the crypto does damage or is uncomfortable with these sub clinical levels of infection is debated. It is not always in a tank but many people do have it. It is curable and w/ proper acclimation you can avoid ever putting it back in. HTH

Current Tank Info: broken and dry

Okay, thank you for this, that's what I wanted to know.

BTW, want to riddle? Riddling is open.

I think I'll let someone else riddle since I have school tommorow.

Okay, here's the dealy-o...

It is natural for this thread to slow down on the weekends, but it is Monday now and I don't predict things are going to really pick up. This thread has been fun, it has been educational for me, and I've enjoyed the friendly experience each of you has added. Now I am forced to make a decision and want your input.

Isrealnajar is in the lead and only 1 point away from the prize at +9. I could declare a winner now, or... we can go to sudden death. What is sudden death?

Sudden death works like this...

I will select a captive-reef life-form and periodically give out clues. Players are not allowed to ask any questions. There is no limit to the number of answers a player can guess, however, each player can only guess once after each clue. A photo is not required and a steal is not possible. This will continue until a player reaches +10 on the current scoreboard.

What say thee?

Oh... forgot to mention. Correct answers will only be worth +1.

I'm ok with you paying the closest now...

But I think my vote shouldn't count.

I think sudden death deserves a shot. Lets call it death with dignity.

I'll come up with something and start the thread tomorrow. See you then!
