Very beautifully set up. Makes me want to set up my 40B that I currently use as a rock curing tank.

Bob, are you running any GFO/Phosphate remover on this tank at all? What is your PO4 at?

Hi Sahin,
yes, I run 4 tablespoons of regular GFO (not the high capacity) in a BRS reactor and I do a weekly 5 gallon water change usually every friday or sunday. I swap the gfo every 5-6 weeks. my phosphate levels hover around .02-.03 via a hanna meter.

I really like the look of your tank with corals and not too much rockwork. But, is it just me? or is your lighting not that bright?

Kind of refreshing to see a yellow tang in a 40b. Highly debating getting one. How's he doing? Been haggled by the tang police yet?

Thank Ed,

The oregon tort is encrusting very nicely and is starting to get a deeper blue. that is it in the middle center. its on its own little rubble rock shelf, I just moved it to the right of the green slimer, so it should have some more room to grow but it seems happy overall. where in your tank do you keep yours under high light?

Hes doing great. I bought him when he was about the size of a half dollar. I had a bryopsis outbreak from a frag from a swap in october and he cleaned up the entire tank. not a trace of algae anymore. i supplement him with red gracillia algae that i have in my fuge. and no i havent been harrassed yet. lol

So essentially you think a 40 breeder is large enough and would recommend it?

Yes, mine is at the upper area of the tank.
