I used a cheap "filter" and my new well for water.
I also got some more o2 in the tank, scrubbed every inch and cleaned the filters. Im putting my dead live rock in the area where bio balls go (clear view tank) after I clean it. Cant really get a photo, looks awesome now. Got 4 fish and 2 new corals and it looks great! im plumbing in a valve so I can dump water out by routing a tube from my pumps to a "Y" valve. Looking great! Im still ignorant on chemicals of a reef. |

And yet, that's the root of your problem.

Ok, all good now. all REALLY REALLY GOOD.
Photo does not do it justice. Everything is happy, I did loose 2 shrimps one jumped and the other was just lost! I got another couple hundred pounds of live rock, I packed the "Clear for life" rear of my tank that has the built in over flows, I got a cooler, a sump. But the main thing was the well water, its perfect. Its filtered by a 100 pound charcoal canister. |

Probably a good time to get out. You gave it a good try but this hobby is not for everyone. Definitely no dishonor in moving on.
