A patent? I doubt that is in Boxfish's future. After all, he's not claiming to have come up with some new compound or device. He cannot patent the 'idea' of using in reef tanks something we all have access to.

but there are alot of propriatary products out there in the reef world that we just don't know what the ingrediants are.... We guess but some of them could be sugar water or just common ingrediants.

Diamonds or wait I got it Cat hair...
It's already been guessed but the only thing I can think of is charcoal. Specifically extruded charcoal since it would contain the least amount of impurities compared to say kingsford briquettes which have a ton of other things in there to get it burning faster. He said someone already guessed it and I would assume it was the old gac suggestion. |

well I may as well tell you guys my idea.
It was and is biopellets. However the guy who sells them, got around to it before me, with my limited understanding of chemistry. Hahaha. oh well, for those of you who were wondering its the same concept as biopellets. I may invent a better product than this in the future. After of course I test biopellets out and see any problems aquarists have with it.

Alright I was just reading through this and thats exactly the first thing that came to mind. What we really need is a future machine so we can go see what their doing a couple years from now.
