Fresh water tanks and reptiles mostly I think. Started out with some goldfish when I was pretty young and pretty much progressed into all sorts of different freshwater fish and a few different lizards, then some brackish tanks and finally got into saltwater. So a good portion of my money has always gone to fish tanks, just the animals I keep in them has changed . Some of it back then went towards metal detecting (hey, when you're a kid saving up $400 for a metal detector takes a while) and a competition rifle. Sold the rifle, still have and use the metal detector.
Now a bigger chunk of my money goes towards photography.

I roadraced motorcycles. I'd spend more prepping a single bike than I probably ever will on a reef tank...

I caught the fish keeping bug since I was 14, and got my first job at an LFS at 15 so I always sunk money into aquariums.

Race car, guns and boobs. Still like all of them, but sold the car. Race car was quite a bit more expensive than reefing, keeping boobs around is a whole lot more expensive than reefing.

Bass Fishing! My reeftank isn't anywere near the price of my boat. Problem is, is that I still own both. I think I am due for a raise at work.
