Yeah, I think there is a way. The actual plug that goes into the ballast is the same. The only difference is the number of wires coming out and the slots being used. In talking with a local reefer, we were able to figure out the slots that were missing and a way to make the ballast work.
Bad part is... I didn't have the right tools, and completly botched the mod. ![]() So now I need to purchase a whole new replacement. hopefully I can pick one up tomorrow. Worst case scenario, I can order one from Salty Critter tomorrow and it will be here on Tuesday.

I don't know if you have seen this thread yet T.J---when you tried to get rid of the caulerpa there might have been an easier way to do it

Oh and as usual, when you try to fix something (or at least when I do) you always break something else.
![]() When I was trying to fix the return line my hand slipped off and I knocked the PVC drain from the fuge right off. So along with weeding, later this week I will have to shut down the sump for a day in order to re-attach it. Now it is just water pouring through an open hole into the return section right on top of the pump... result... TONS of bubbles in the display.

Here's some pics of the PBT... the glass is smeared and I couldn't get a good shot but I did my best with what I had
![]() He's doing well so far, and has began eating off the algae clip daily now. ![]() ![]() ** I have a video of him, which is much clearer, and will post it once it finishes uploading**

I decided to run to wal-mart last night around 2am... always a treat
![]() ![]() ![]() Anyway, I picked up these glass measuring cups for my 2 part dosing. They were like $1 and have a picture of a chef hat on them ![]() The line is marked at 30ml, which is what I am currently dosing daily. ![]()
