Yeah, anything that is mold-proof is the stuff with the harmful chemicals. If you are getting it at a hardware store look for aquarium silicone or looke for 100% pure silicone.

Why pay extra for different packaging?

GE Silicone I is perfectly fine, and I've used it on multiple sumps, overflows, and tanks. You can find it easily at any Lowes or Home Depot

Here are some pictures of the 2 different packages I have purchased it in.

GE Silicone II is the stuff not safe for aquarium use. As it has mold inhibitors in it.

to stop it from getting hard use a rubberband to tightly hold a piece of plastic over the nozzle.

I just went to local hardware store they had GE #11 and GE 100% silicone and on label not for aquarium use or marine use under water line. All these tubes say not for aquarium use. What does your label say. The tube just said GE 100% silicone didn't say GE silicone 1. So whats the deal . I need the thread that was here. Maybe it was on the do it yourself forum . I can't search so I can't find it. I did read the silicone 11 label and it did have mildew stuff in it.

The GE I is the one you want...its 100% silicone. The GE II has the BioSeal*mold/mildew protection stuff in it. Here is a link to it at Lowes http://www.lowes.com/lowes/lkn?actio...12A&lpage=none . I have used it time and again without any issues.

How do you need a thread... you've got pictures right there?

The thread the other day was started by Dglove (or a name similar to that), and basically says the same thing your getting here. Seriously Ronny, I've used the stuff I pictured above on tons of different things. Both under and above the water line.

GE #1 or any other 100% silicone that does not say mold/mildew resistant. The disclaimer about not for use underwater is to cover the manufacturer if you have a leak/flood. GE does sell clear silicone with bio-seal (bad stuff) but it is labeled with a logo as such. Any other 100% w/o mold inhibitors should be fine as well.
My new sump's glue is drying now I used DAP 100% clear.

yup you got it! ANY brand of 100% silicone that does not have mold/meldew inhibitors in it will work just fine - GE just happens to be the most commonly found.
