You must be quoting prices from MOPS http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/sh...2#post15371692

D&D is much better IMO too. I did have issues with my CR after I started using D&D. For some reason it maintains Alk and Calcium levels better than any other salt I have used.

that's about 92 Cdn dollars. We are lucky in this area to have Mops( mail order parts and supplies) to get it for 79 dollars.

thats an excellent price scott, i think we do pay a little too much over here to be honest with most things, i think its worth it though, my tank seems to have improved drastically since i switched to D&D

If you can find Red Sea Coral Pro in your area its the same as DD's, but usually 10-15% cheaper.

I hope it never catches on, I like having the oldest tank on here and I don't have to worry about calcification, bio pellets, Vodka dosing, DSBs, Chaetomorpha (I don't even know what that is) Carbonite hardness and all of these other things many people worry about. If I had to think about all of that stuff I would get a stroke. My test kit came in a wooden box and the directions say to keep in a cool chariott. I throw some food in the tank, wave hello to the fish and go out with my wife and have a nice glass of merlot with dinner. Have a great day but most of all, have fun. -PaulB Current Tank Info: 27 Gallon DAS softy/fish reef |

So, this is a really old thread!!
I used to be in the business and sold aquarium dry goods, equipment, etc for a distributor but what is this Ocean Pro you speak of? Since I moved back to TO, I have been using reef crystals, which is a brand I used to sell. How has the salt been treating you for the past 7 years or so? |
