Baffle thickness????
I am getting ready to install the baffles in my DIY sump and would like some opinions on thickness of glass to use. I'm using 75G oceanic tank as a sump. 17x18 - baffle size.

I use the .025 or quarter inch thickness with my baffles, it gives the silicone a decent footprint to hold them in place.

Thanks, you used it on 30G? I have 75G, I'm just not sure if quarter inch is strong enough?

Depends on the water levels on either side of the baffle wall. If the water levels will be close to equal, you can get away with really thin glass, but if the levels are dramatically different (several inches for instance) I would go with 3/8th"s. I think 1/4" will be fine either way actually, but doesn't hurt to play it safe.

I used that thicknes on my 40 breed tank, I changed sumps and need to change that.

1/4" would work great....leave them 1.25" apart and the middle one about 1" off the bottom and you will be set!

I have probably 1/8" thick(normal window pane thickness) on my 29g sump. The water levels are fairly close. My return section can get low though. I do not have any problem with this setup at all though. 1/4" would be an overkill probably but it would be a sure thing. If you go with 1/8" just fill each section of your sump equally.
