Which power heads?
HI
Ive currently got two power heads with around 15 times movement I know from what ive been told and read tunze seem to be the superior pump but can anyone suggest any others in the lesser price bracket? Also are the power heads best set in one direction or rotating? Just found one type that rotates apparently gives a more natural flow. |

I like the MaxiJets, they're simple to take apart and clean and they're practically bulletproof...very reliable. As for more of a flow spectrum you could always get the Hydor FLO attachments, I have these on my 900's and they work great!

I have tunze (love it) and a seio. The seio works just as well, but needs to be maintained a lot. They will freeze up sometimes if the power goes out, so you might have to whack them. But for 60$ for 1100 gph, it is worth it.
