HELPPP !!! hELLPP ! tANK LEAKING!

fINALLY got my 46 g tank established after a year of hard work. i sat down tonight to browse RC after feeding my BTA and LTA nems when i heared water dripping. Going faster and faster by the minute.
luckily i had a 25 g rubbermaid tub available. I transfered rock, livestock and nems to tubs. Put my lights, powerhead, and skimmer on tub. Can i go until saturday to get a new tank. please advise..

I would not take the chance to wait till Saturday.

Why can't you go pick one up tomorrow?

I simply won't have the time after work. I coach high school basketball and friday nights are our big nights. I teach during the day. I want to go early saturday morning. The tub is filled w/ water from my tank. The salinity, temp, and ph are fine.

I don't know but if you have a skimmer hook it up and run it.
It will help with o2 aand waste. But still I'm not sure you wont have loses.

Keep your testkits available and test frequently. Things can go bad fast the smaller water volume you have. Not to worry you though, things will be fine. Good luck and let us know how it goes!

AGA only have the warrenty if you have the stand that AGA makes.

yes saturday is ok, you said the bucket has lights, skimmer, and powerhead. I lost power last year for 7 days after hurricane Wilma in south florida i did not lose any fish, i didn't have any corals at the time.
BUT STOP and think my 16 gal bow tank only has a AquaClear hob power filter and a powerhead running about 1 and 1/2 years. No Skimmer and everything is ok. Enjoy friday night.

fish don't care if it's rubbermaid or AGA- just keep the heat on and the water moving. the'll be fine.

You'll be fine my fish were in a rubbermaid for a couple days when an old pump corroded and I had a virtual oil spill. It takes awhile to fill and empty a 150 gallon tank several times to get all oil off glass and such. Just maintain water flow, I would throw in aeration, light is not that important for a short period so I wouln't bother with that and skimming is not a bad idea, although, do you have any fish? If not you can probably go w/o skimmingMake sure the temp is in check too.
