What's a good Goby

I would like to know a good goby for a 30G, that will eat the sand and sift it out its gills, keeping the sand bed somewhat cleaned up.

A yellow watchman golby will do a good job at sifting the sand. Also try the famous Nassarius snails. They are tiny and practically live in the upper layers of the sand bed.

Here is a video of a Watchman golby and a pistol shrimp in a symbiotic relationship, they seem to do a fair amount of sifting.

I love my Rainford's Goby (also known as a stars and stripes) for that in my 20 gal. Doesn't seem to be as shy as other small gobies either.

Don't the watchman gobies get a big big for a 30 gal?

Another vote for the diamond goby. You can get them with orang, purple, blue or no spots. They sift the sand really well and get along with all my tank mated including my blenny. They can get pretty big though. Just be sure to have plenty of open sand on the bottom of your tank.
