live sand ?
hey again. im going to add live sand to this new 110gal tank. can i use a base of fake play sand (washed) on bottom then few bags of live on top? good idea or no? also with live rock from cycled tank new live sand with some old and water from established tank how long should i wait for livestock? a whole new cycle or just till water params are good? thanks as always

Use dry sand (cheaper) and take a couple scoops of sand out of the other tank, and a few pieces of live rock.
You'll see little, if any cycle.

I did that when setting up my tank and saw no cycle. Works great
