OM Super Squirt Noisy? Check this out.
I've been trying to locate the source of "banging" pipes. Initially I thought it was from the 1" PVC being pressurized and moving in the holes drilled through the eurobracing of the tank. But after doing everything possible to stabilize the returns, (and noticing the noise would move between outlets and not repeat on any specific one) I noticed no difference. Reading on the various boards that a dirty drum could cause the noises, I took the top off and found the top of the drum to have bump above the opening.
This SS has given nearly 2 years of trouble free operation and I'll just replace the drum. I wanted to try a different version any way. For those of you with the noisy SS, something to check out. CAReefer

As a follow up, I ordered a new drum from Paul at Oceans Motion and promptly received E-mail confirmation of the order and shipping. Shortly thereafter, another E-mail stating my PayPal had been refunded and that Paul was extending my warranty.
Now that's service. Thanks guys. CAReefer
