AquaEuro Recirculating skimmer..??

I have been looking at both the AquaEuro 135 recirc skimmer and the Octopus 110 recirc skimmer... I have heard they are extremely similar besides the pumps... I am leaning a little more towards the AquaEuro due to the price of the skimmer, but I havent heard much people talk about this skimmer... I have seen reviews for the AquaEuro Classic series skimmers, but not the recirc skimmers... anyone have any excperience with these..?? or even a link to a review..?? Thanks in advance..

there is an aquaeuro recirc thread around here somewhere. I would go with the aquaeuro (reefnut.com) as it is a little better.

i have one. it works pretty good, especially for the price. im running it on a medium stocked 90 and i pull about 1-1.5 milk jugs of skim every 4 days or so.

I would also recommend the AE 135 recirc. I was quite impressed with the build quality (nothing leaks on mine, even without teflon tape). I also think that it has a larger diameter than the Octupus 110. I don't know how it stacks up in the long run with the Octopus in terms of skimmate production. However, if you plan on using it on your 25 gallon, I think you might as well go with the less expensive AE.

can I use a MJ1200 I have laying around as a feed pump..?? I would rather not buy another pump right now and with the tank not being that big I shouldn't need a big pump...
