can you rid bubble algea without emerald crab?
i have a rock with some small bubble algea, and i was just trying to figure out how to get rid of the stuff without using an emerald crab....is there any way? thanks

Even with emerald crabs it's pretty tough. Some tangs and rabbitfish will eat it, but that's only going to work if you have a large tank.

I bought 3 emeralds. Never saw them look at the stuff. I had a good sized patch hidden behind some rocks. Shortly after I got my naso, he erraticated the stuff in two days and I've never seen it come back. And my emeralds... Found a new home after being taken to the LFS. they were worthless IMO

how large is your tank? a rabbitfish or a sailfin tang might work

My bubble algae just dissappeared after the move last year. A tiny patch has resurfaced, but not spread.
