Moving fish from one tank to another... Questions?
I'm tearing down my smaller tank and moving the "keepable" contents to my bigger tank.
I will be moving 3 fish. True Perc, Steintz Goby, and a Halechoeres Sp. Wrasse. If both tanks are kept at the same temp, SG, and Ph is close... Should I do any acclimation? I'm just wondering if it would be less stress to simply move quickly given the similar parameters vs. Temp small container, sitting in acclimation, etc. Mike

i would, the bacterial content will be different among other things.
drip method for about 30 minutes and they should be fine. ![]() the cells in a fish are structured to the tank they are in. a fast change in the cellular structure can cause problems or even worse. ![]()
