Timers...
what timers does everyone suggest?
I need individual timers for two lights, but ideally it would be nice if there is a timer out there that accepts two small transformers. one problem I'm running into is that the timer I bought doesn't accept a three-prong plug and adding adapters to all of them is just going to get messy. Is there any timer out there that accepts three prong plugs? I just need a timer that will turn off and on once a day.

This is the timer I use.
Probally alittle overkill for what is needed but I like it. Found at home depot.

yeah that one has way more options than I need, and honestly I don't want to pay for them if I will never utilize them.
are all times always so large and bulky? the one I have is like 3"x3". all I need is a 3 plug with just a single on & off and as compact as possible.

mine is just a single timer that accepts 3 prongs that came from either walmart (ick) or the LFS (double ick)... it was like $7 or something and has this little rotating dial that you set and then you push down some tabs around the timer where you want the light to be. This is a large timer also, but I use a surge protector that has the last outlet separated by about 2 inches so it can house a larger plug. Hope this helps!

Here is mine. Got them at Lowe's.
Just wire them to receptacles. They take the place of a normal switch.

Most LPS will have a timer with a ground prong. Also hardware stores... Have them as well. Get a heavy duty one. It will last longer with ballasts on them.
