problem with zoas?
i have a colony of purple zoas with an orange skirt. about a week or two ago they closed up. During this time, i noticed a brownish "slime" over some of them. It kind of looked like cyano, but i figured it was a fungus and needed to be treated. Well, i waited a few more days, and then they opened back up, so i figured all was good. Well, they have been open, but they have lost color and they look like they might be shrinking a little bit; just basically don't look as healthy. Should i go ahead and treat them? what could it be? thanks

For a brown slim to build your water flow isn't strong enough. Blow off the slim or even do a quick deep and get an extra powerhead. It should be good after a week.
