Looking for lighting advice

I can go two ways with the lighting over my 180. The tank is 24 inches deep and the primary focus will be on LPS and SPS. I have two complete setups that I can use, 250 watt spider reflectors and mogul base SE, or 250 watt HQI DE with cheapo reflectors, and UV lens. Looking for input mainly from people who've used both, advantages/ disadvantages of each. I've been using SE 250 MH for a while so I'm pretty familiar with it, but not sure on the DE setup never used it. I have Icecap ballasts.
