yellow yellow yellow......... DEFINITELY yellow tang first......
280gal...... what else are you going to add..... the PBT really wants to be the last fish you add, unless you are thinking of something even more aggressive (not many of those fish in the hobby...... that is those that are more aggressive than a PBT). So, if you are adding any other tangs, docile trigger, butterflyfish, angelfish......... that sort of thing, get them in first (generally speaking). HTH Matt

In that case - with a 720 gal comming so soon, I would wait until the new tank arrives, get all your existing fish into it first, and still, add the PBT last.
My dealer had a PBT in his home aquarium..... it was a 600 gal (10') tank, and the tang got HUGE - pretty quickly - and was extremely aggressive........ I would definitely say last, unless you are looking at adding anything else, which is more aggressive, and I would definitely wait until your new tank is set up, and your other fish are well established.

I have a YT and a PBT in my 120. I added them together, at the same time to minimize territory issues. they are both about 5" with the YT maybe a little bigger. In my situation, the YT is a bit more of a bully, but your results may vary.

when my friend did a 500gal custom tank he added his school of PBT and YT at the same tiem and had no issues, every fish he added afterwards none of the tangs even bothered them. so in my experience PBT have been the most friendly fish ive seen.
