Need powerful heater.

My basement sump is cooling my water so much that 5 heaters, 250 watts each are not enough.

I have two 180 gal tanks and three 20 gal tanks running off a 180 gal sump and 150 gal reservoir in the basement of my new home. As the basement is cooling off, my tanks are down to 72 degrees even with 1250 watts of heaters. The basement is about 68 degrees, and can be heated up a bit, but the whole thing is one open area, so it may be impractical and expensive.

Can anyone suggest the best equipment to heat my system?

Can you put styrafoam underneath the sump or any tanks that are sitting on your basement floor.

Sumps are not directly on the floor. Insulating them would be difficult and I would rather be able to look through the side. I am going to try covering one.

Thanks for the link to the Aqua Medic heaters.

Just looked up the Biotherm Controller/Monitor.

Can it run two seperate 500 watt heaters so they can be in seperate sumps?
